Understanding debt means caring for your future. Remember: it's in your best interests to avoid interest.

Free College Workshops is a non-profit group spanning the United States. Our mission is to empower high school students and their families with the information necessary to make wise college decisions.

  • For students, this means maximizing the benefit of their time at university.

  • For parents, this means minimizing the cost of one of the most expensive items they'll ever face.

Through partnerships with experienced college planners across the country, we offer free 75-90 minute workshops designed to educate families on topics ranging from:

  • The rising cost of college

  • Strategies to obtain merit aid

  • Tips to choose the right school

  • Impact of social media on applications

  • Difference between SAT & ACT

  • Financial Aid case studies

  • And more

In addition to the information offered at our complimentary workshops, our partnerships mean every family in attendance is eligible for a complimentary FAFSA review. At these 45-60 minute sessions, your local college planner will review your family’s finances and help you understand where your current Expected Family Contribution lands and how best to lower that number.

If you have not already done so, please click here to access our main registration portal. Reserve your spot at an upcoming workshop by clicking on the closest major city to you.
